HEARING LOSS

Hearing loss in children can be a result of an ear infection, fluid in the ear, which are temporary conditions and can usually be addressed with ear tubes. Other causes are, genetic predisposition, medication induced, trauma, or viral illness. Some hearing loss can be improved with medical or surgical treatments, while other cases have more permanent effects that can be assisted with hearing aid technology.
